Sunday, November 16th, AJK’s hosted a Special Rank Day for our Black & Recommended Black Belt students and families. The Beach weather was superb, and a good time was had by all! Watch for future Special Rank Days!

On Friday, December 12th, AJK’s invites all athletes and their friends to attend at night of food, dessert, and holiday cheer at the Martial Arts Center. Call or e-mail Mrs. Kinowski at (949) 394-0410 to reserve your spot now! Limit 50.
thursday thunder
Every Thursday at AJK’s will be known as Thursday Thunder! Beginning on Thursday, November 6th, from 3:30 to 4:30, AJK’s will be offering specially designed callisthenic exercises along with kicking drills. The primary focus is to enhance athlete's strength and knowledge through various calisthenics and kicks. This class is sure to create some noise!
eight week program at balboa bay club
Beginning on Thursday, November 6th 2008, AJK’s will be conducting TKD classes at the Balboa Bay Club from 3:45 to 4:45. This one hour beginner level class will be offered every Thursday for children ages 5 through 10. These classes are for Balboa Bay Club members and their guests. Should you know of any Balboa Bay Club member whose child(s) might be interested in Taekwondo, please have them contact The Bay Club or call 949-394-0410 for literature inquires.
tournament talk
AJK’s would like to welcome some new tournament team members: Frankie and Jackie Choumas, Ashley Djavaherian, Ronan Ferrentino, Peter Emmel and Devin Parker. We wish them well in their tournament success.
AJK’s would also like to congratulate Alexandra Brinkman, Devin Broderick, Brent and Nicholas Stone for competing at the JKI and California Juniors. All in all, AJK’s came home with four medals and one school trophy!
